PROJECT PROFILE

Why this Matters to an Owner, Not just an Integrator
Most building protocols were designed to solve a communications problem: getting devices on a network to talk to each other. UDMI was designed to solve a fleet management problem: keeping a large, growing, multi-vendor population of devices secure, current, and trustworthy over its operating life. That distinction matters most to the party who owns the asset for the long term — not the contractor who installs it once.
