PROJECT PROFILES

Managed BACnet
The Managed BACnet project concentrates on technology and implementation challenges in deploying BACnet into cloud-native buildings. The work focuses on leveraging the use of BACnet/SC (Secure Connect), which is inherently cloud-native, with existing BACnet installations and products that utilize transport layers that do not perform well in cloud-native environments.
Purpose and Scope
To define specifications and guidelines to encourage the broad adoption of BACnet in Could-Native environments.
Create, gather, and catalog open-source resources in support of the stated purpose.
